Small pieces, worn on ordinary days
The jewelry most people know us for is the letter pendant: one initial, drawn rather than stamped, on a chain thin enough to disappear under a collar. We make it because the piece a person actually wears every day is rarely the heavy one in the box at the back of a drawer. It is the light one that goes on without thinking and comes off at night.
That decides everything else about the range. Chains are thin, pendants are small, prices sit between two and fifteen dollars, and nothing here is solid gold. A plated piece is a finish over brass: it looks like the metal it copies, it costs a fraction, and it wears at the points that rub. We would rather tell you that than let a price imply otherwise.
Two metal tones and one set of measurements
Most designs run in 14K gold plate and in silver plate, and a few in 18K gold plate. The tone changes how a piece reads: gold warms against skin and forgives a scratch, silver throws a stone into sharper relief. What it does not change is how the piece is built. The chain, the clasp and the length stay the same, so a gold letter and a silver one stack without one sitting oddly against the other.
Every length on this site is the measured one, printed with the extender closed and open. A 16.5 inch chain with a two inch extender covers 16.5 to 18.5 inches, which is the collarbone and just below it. Anklets are measured around the bone and run longer. We print both numbers because a necklace bought at the wrong length gets worn twice.
Who wears CAROVO
People buying a first initial for a daughter, people replacing a chain that finally gave out, people who want three thin things on one wrist and do not want to spend a hundred dollars finding out whether they like the look. The range is built for a wardrobe rather than for a vitrine: a letter, a cross, a pearl, a stack of chains, an anklet for a holiday.
