Gold plate over a brass core is what most of this catalog is. The layer is thin, which is what plating means, and it behaves like a finish rather than like solid metal: it warms against most skin tones, it hides a light scratch better than silver does, and it wears at the points that rub, which on a necklace is the back of the chain and on a bracelet the inside of the clasp.
Two thicknesses appear in the range. Most pieces are 14K gold plated; the paperclip chain and the coin choker are 18K plated, and one toggle necklace is gold filled, which is a heavier layer bonded rather than deposited. The card under each name says which, because that is the number that decides how the piece ages.
A piece leaves this page when it leaves stock; 21 are on it as of the last update of the CAROVO catalog.
